Deep Wilds offers unique school field trip programs in which young people can embark on a fun-filled and adventurous journey into the mysteries of nature and the art of living close to the earth. Students learn timeless wilderness survival skills, native crafts, the art of tracking, and the skills of awareness and observation that will allow them to engage fully in nature's mysteries.

Our focus on learning to thrive the wilderness, engaging in nature's mysteries, genuine self expression, and deep listening along with time for reflection and integration helps campers to develop confidence, respect for self, others and the natural world, and strong community living skills. Real life challenges in the art of group wilderness living that blend seamlessly with engaging, mind-stretching adventures and activities help students to become creative problem solvers, to connect with the peaceful place inside, and feel what it means to be truly and joyfully alive.

Our small group sizes and highly trained staff ensures that campers get the quality personalized attention they deserve.

If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in."
